Explanation of Fees
Income-Based Sliding Scale
AIN is committed to providing affordable legal services to immigrants and refugees. We know that navigating the immigration system is often overwhelming and expensive. To continue providing the best possible service while keeping our help affordable for those who need it most, we are moving to a sliding scale fee model.
This means that legal fees will now be determined based on the household income. By adjusting fees based on income, we can remain a sustainable resource for our community while prioritizing those facing the greatest financial hardships.
Preparing for Your Consultation
To help us provide you with an accurate fee estimate during your initial consultation, we ask all potential clients to bring the following documents to their consultation:
Your most recent federal tax return
Your three most recent paystubs
How You Can Support Our Mission
Our legal hese fees only cover a fraction of the actual cost of expert legal work. We rely on the generosity of our community to bridge the gap. Please consider making a donation today. Your gift directly supports our legal services program, allowing us to represent families, workers, and dreamers as they build their futures here.
